Experiments glas
How do I approach the big topic of humour? How do I start creating and avoid the infamous fear of the blank page? In my first mentoring session, the following question was raised: For example, what makes a glass humorous?.
Taking this question literally was the starting point to begin reating. With everything around me, I began to look for unexpectedly funny uses for a glass. I focused on its fragility, form and utility and tried to play with these qualities.
Funfact: In this first mentoring, I was also asked if I knew the Monty Python sketch where someone laughed himself to death, I'm still not sure what this question was aimed at. (︎︎︎link to youtube “The funniest joke in the world”).
